You sent a fax to a correctly formatted eFax address, but received an email response that looks like this:
Subject: There was a problem with your fax request ,Unauthorized sending email address.
Date: May 17, 2013 9:57:10 AM CDT
Your request could not be processed for the following reasons
Unauthorized sending email address.
*this is a system generated email, please do not reply
There are a few reasons this might happen:
- You use multiple email addresses
If your email is configured to send from multiple email addresses, you can click From in the message composition window to see which of your addresses is marked as the sender. If you aren’t sure which of your addresses is registered for eFax, we can find out for you.
- You don't have an email address registered in our system
If this is the case you can open a ticket with the Helpdesk and we'll get you set up.
- We have an incorrect address noted in our system
This is typically due to simple human error, like a typo. In any event just let us know and we'll make sure the address is corrected.
