How to find your computer's name in Windows

Your computer's name identifies it on the network for remote desktop, file sharing, and other network services.

  1. Click on Start in the bottom left corner.
  2. Right-click on Computer and select Properties.
  3. You’ll see your computer’s name under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings.
