Change your Display Resolution

Higher resolutions (such as 1920 x 1080) will cause text and objects on your screen to appear smaller, but sharper. Lower resolutions (like 800 x 600) will increase the size of text and objects, but limit the amount of information that can be displayed at any one time.

To Change the Resolution on your Mac:

  1. Open System Preferences. Click Displays.
  2. Select Scaled to manually choose your resolution (as shown below).
