Printing a test page can confirm basic printer connectivity as well as provide you with essential troubleshooting information about the printer you're using.
- Open System Preferences and click Printers & Scanners.
- In the Printers & Scanners window, you'll see a list of your printers.
- Double-click the desired printer.
- From the menu at the top of your screen, click Printer. Then Select Print Test Page.
